Modern Roman Shades with a Flair
For most of the rooms, including the kitchen, dining, and living areas, the family chose the Hunter Douglas Vignette Stacking Roman Shades with the additional feature of Top-Down, Bottom-Up. This feature allows for the shade to be pulled down from the down however far they would like the shade to go to customize the amount of light entering the room while maintaining privacy. For these rooms, the couple chose the light-filtering fabric: Linen Weave. They also chose PowerView® Motorization to further add ease and versatility to their window treatments. For the bedrooms, they opted for a room-darkening fabric to enhance the cave-like experience for their ideal sleeping environment.
The Soft Sophistication of Silhouettes
The concept of Silhouette Shadings is similar to the versatility of shutters. A notable difference is the softer look created since the shades are comprised of fabric sheers and vanes. You can open the vanes while the shade is fully lowered for a view that still filters light. For the living room sliding glass doors, the family chose 4” Quartette (4” vanes) for their Silhouettes in the light-filtering Originale fabric with PowerView Motorization.
