Follow the Steps
“The Art of Layering at the Window” offers a clear, step-by-step process, options for “perfect pairings,” fabric folios, and suggested combinations for various product lines. Because the pairings were selected by professionals, you can’t go wrong!
Step One
Start by selecting what will go directly against the window, which could be a blind, shade, or shutter. You can choose from options such as Provenance® Woven Wood Shades, Designer Banded Shades, Duette® Honeycomb Shades, and more. The product that is directly against the window will control the light and add energy efficiency at the window.
Step Two
Here’s where you get to choose the fabrics. The benefit here is that the fabrics that add drama, depth, and style. You’ll find options in the core Design Studio line, or you can choose textiles from the featured artist collection.
Step Three
Determine if you’d like to add some more flair through side panels or drapery. Side panels frame the window to add dimension and beauty. Drapery can fully cover the window to provide additional privacy and light control. Remember, if you choose drapery, you can hang it from the ceiling to the floor instead of just around the window to add even more style and elegance to your room.
