 Living Room Drapery
This is the first room you see when you enter this home. Our goal was to have the custom drapery gently frame the view and draw people into the coziness of the room at the same time. We chose a silk fabric in a shade slightly deeper than the wall color. A gentle overlapping double swag top treatment frames the beautiful view without competing with it. The result is an elegance that complements the rest of the furnishings but does not intimidate the guests. It is truly a room with a view worth sitting and visiting for a while. |
Dining Room Drapery
For this formal dining room, we chose a traditional Kingston valance with long cascades in a satin stripe over solid burgundy silk panels for this formal dining room. For a little more detail and texture, a bullion trim was added to the top treatment. A beautiful treatment that complemented the faux painted walls. |
Den Drapery
The family room had a lot of beautiful textures from the heavily textured glazed walls, the slate fireplace surround, the antiqued mantel to the gently scraped wood floors. Subtle textures in the drapery works best here. The faux bamboo rods add to the casualness of the room. The main drapery fabric is a tone on tone that complements the heavy texture on the walls. The faux valance draws the eyes up and adds to the overall harmony of the room. |
Master Bedroom Drapery
The master bedroom valance adds an interesting design, almost an architectural shape, to this bay window. The fabric is a very subdued striped damask that complements the bedding and bergere chairs. A brushed trim was added for a more finished touch. |
